The Birth of Commission Queen

Hello Queens!

For my first blog, I want to tell you a little overview about me and the birth of Commission Queen.

If you don't know me quite yet, my name is Bekkah. I'm so happy and humbled to have you here!

My passions are:

- Creating and living my dream life and inspiring others to do the same

- Traveling the world

- Real Estate

I became a Realtor when I was 21 years old, which considering I wanted to be one since age 10...my parents are surprised I waited that long. Seriously, though. It was my dream to be a Realtor starting at the age of 10.

When I got older, I fell into the whole "going to college to get a job" thing before I could even think about what I really wanted. With Divine intervention, I was clearly told to get my real estate license (another blog on that another day).

Starting in real estate was rough for me. I went into it thinking, "Oh isn't this going to be so dreamy!?"

Turns out - it wasn't so dreamy to start.

I bounced around to 3 different brokerages and teams before I had even closed on my first deal. 

Finally, I settled in on a team and I started closing deals. The team environment began to grow more and more toxic over the two and a half years. My personality is not made for a team. I like to do my own thing, my own way, my own time. I'm sure many of you can relate!

Then one day, the day I had prayed for, arrived.

I was "let go", fired, nixed from the team.

I remember saying something along the lines of, "I'm so glad! I was hoping this would happen!" and smiling and jumping in my car as I left the building.

FREEDOM FINALLY!

So I thought...Yes, I was finally on my own. But that also meant I had to generate my own clients, which I had never done before.

I struggled major for the first year and a half, going months without a paycheck. I started getting a lot of anxiety and I felt depressed. 

I even started applying for "real jobs" - aka jobs that I knew would suck the life out of me.

After all of that, I decided to dedicate my focus to manifesting in my business and stop doing everything else that wasn't working.

My business shifted BIG TIME and I started receiving business consistently. On top of that, I started traveling 80+ days per year - and still closing more business than agents that had never taken a vacation in 2 years.

Business started to be EASY. Getting business started becoming EASY. And making money started being EASY and FUN!

There were two reactions from agents that knew me:

1. "OMG! How do you travel and still get all the business that you do?! Teach me!!"

2. "Traveling again, huh? When do you ever work?" *snarky voice*

Actually, I got a lot of negative feedback from team leaders too, because they wanted to push the "hustle til you die" mentality - and my actions and results did not fall in line with that narrative.

So, I started teaching and coaching the agents that did want to create their dream lives while making the money they deserve. I started supporting and encouraging the women that wanted to do things differently than "hard work and hustle".

My business continues to grow year after year - without marketing, without online leads, without being in town and on my phone 24/7.

In 2019, my husband and I were traveling and I kept telling him "I just got another client! I just got another offer accepted!" and he said, "You are just the Commission Queen!"

And so, Commission Queen was born. 

I thought - that's what I want these women to embody. 

Commission Queen.

Making money would be easy. Confidence would be a given. The ability to create your life the way you wanted it would be a standard.

No matter where you are today, no matter how you're feeling: I want you to take on the Commission Queen Crown.

Instead of just working in person, I wanted to share my message, empowerment and teachings with the world - and here we are! 

It is my absolute passion and prayer that I enrich your life, and that with the information and stories that I share you can begin to craft your true dream life and begin to go after it.
